WHY ROOT CANAL TREATMENT?

THE PROCEDURE:
- Diagnosis: Infected tooth is examined clinically and radiographically to assess the need of RCT.
- Local anesthesia: To make the procedure painless and comfortable, local anesthesia is administered. We ensure that you are comfortable with local anesthesia so that procedure can be commenced.
- Access opening and Biomechanical preparation of the tooth: Infected tooth structure is cleaned and pulp is removed. Root canals are disinfected and bmp is carried out using rotary file system.
- Activation of root canals: For complete disinfection and sterilization of root canals, activation is performed using Endoactivator.
- Obturation and post obturation: Root canal space is obturated using sterile GP points and Resin based Sealer to ensure the proper sealing of canals. Crown of tooth is restored to its natural anatomy using Composites reinforced with Fibrafill and Ribbond for proper function and esthetics of the tooth.
RECOVERY AND OUTLOOK:
Few patients may experience mild discomfort for 1-2 days and tooth can last a lifetime with proper care and maintenance.
